Bordeaux: matches, tickets and travel

Founded in 1881, Bordeaux are one of French football's old names, a club with deep roots in a city better known abroad for wine than for noise. Les Girondins carry a historic, slightly grand air, and for many visitors that is part of the appeal. They play at Stade Matmut-Atlantique, a modern ground in Bordeaux that holds about 42,000, where matchday feels more local and lived-in than flashy. There is real edge in the long-running rivalry with Toulouse, and the city itself makes an easy base for a football trip. Below you'll find Bordeaux fixtures, tickets, and everything you need to plan your matchday visit.
