Football Finder is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any Football Associations or football teams. All trademarks and copyrights are the property of their respective owners. Use of this app is at the user's own discretion, and Football Finder assumes no responsibility for any third-party content.

This Privacy Policy describes how and why we (“we”, “us”, or “our”) might collect, store, use, and/or share (“process”) your information when you use our services (“Services”), such as when you create an account, use the map feature, manage your wishlist, or interact with the app in any way.

If you have any questions or concerns, reading this privacy policy will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services.

• What personal information do we process? We collect information you provide (like email) and some automatically collected data (like location when using the map). We also collect limited information from third parties.
• Do we process any sensitive personal information? We do not process sensitive personal information.
• How do we process your information? To provide and improve the Services (e.g., showing nearby events, managing wishlist, personalizing experience), for security, and to comply with law.
• When and with whom do we share your personal information? With service providers (e.g., Supabase, Google Maps), in business transfers, or as required by law.
• What are your rights? You can access, correct, or delete your data by contacting us or through app settings.

Personal Information You Disclose to Us

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register (e.g., email address), create or manage your wishlist, or contact us.

Sensitive Information: We do not process sensitive personal information.

Information Automatically Collected

When you use the map feature, we collect device location data to show nearby sporting events. We also automatically collect technical information such as IP address, device characteristics, operating system, and usage data. This helps maintain security, analytics, and app functionality.

We collect this information through cookies, local storage, and similar technologies (see section on Cookies below).

Information Collected from Other Sources

We may collect limited information from public databases, marketing partners, or social media platforms if you log in with a social account.

We process your information to provide and improve the Services, including:

• Showing relevant nearby sporting events and fixtures based on your location
• Managing your wishlist and personalizing your experience
• Creating and maintaining your account
• Communicating with you and providing customer support
• Security, fraud prevention, and debugging
• Complying with legal obligations

We only process your information when we have a valid legal reason to do so (e.g., contract performance, legitimate interests, or your consent).

We may share information in these situations:

• Service Providers: With Supabase (our backend), Google Maps for mapping/geolocation, and, only if you accept analytics, our analytics providers PostHog and Google Analytics.
• Business Transfers: During mergers, acquisitions, or sale of assets.
• Affiliates and Business Partners: With companies under common control or partners offering related services.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, to protect rights, or in response to valid requests from authorities.

We use essential cookies and local storage to maintain your session, preferences, and app functionality. With your consent, we also use PostHog and Google Analytics to measure how the Service is used so we can improve it; these are only loaded after you accept analytics cookies. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. Third-party services (like Google Maps) may use their own tracking technologies-please review their privacy policies. If you register or log in using a social media account (e.g., Facebook or X), we may receive profile information such as your name, email, and profile picture. We use this only for the purposes described in this policy. We recommend reviewing the social provider's privacy policy for their practices.

Our servers (via Supabase) are primarily located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the US, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US or other countries. We take appropriate measures to protect your data in line with this policy and applicable law.

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law. When no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it, or securely isolate it if deletion is not immediately possible.

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent/guardian consenting to a minor's use. If we learn we have collected data from someone under 18, we will deactivate the account and delete the data.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. You can also withdraw consent where applicable.

You can delete your account through the Settings page. To exercise any other rights, please contact us at the details below. We will respond in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

We do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals, as no uniform standard has been finalized.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. We will notify you of material changes through the app.
