The Team Behind Football Finder
Football Finder exists because its founders were tired of juggling fixture lists, stadium maps, ticket marketplaces, weather apps and a friend's WhatsApp recommendation just to pick a match on a free Saturday. So they built the tool they wished existed.
Shlomi Meiner founded Football Around Me in 2020 to answer one question: which match can I go to near me? Assaf Hay Eden joined the same year. When COVID-19 closed the stadiums the project was put aside, and in 2025 the team came back to it: Tsuf Eden joined, Football Around Me Ltd was incorporated in London, and the product was rebuilt as Football Finder at footballfinder.app.
Football Finder is headquartered in London. Three fans, no bench, built between flights, away days and injury time.

Shlomi founded Football Around Me in 2020, the project that became Football Finder. A frontend engineer by background, Shlomi led frontend at SpecterX, was a frontend developer at Fiverr, and founded the sports-tech company EasyCoach.

Assaf Hay Eden
Co-founder & COO
Assaf joined Shlomi in 2020 and leads operations, data and growth. Assaf spent five years at PayPal, latterly leading sales analytics for Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Africa, then worked on product growth at monday.com. Earlier roles were in sport: sponsorship analytics at vBrand (acquired by Nielsen) and seven years as communications coordinator at Maccabi Haifa B.C.

Tsuf joined in 2025 to lead product strategy, user experience and go-to-market. Before Football Finder, Tsuf was a Product Manager at REEF in London, Product Lead at Watchful, and built learning products at PayPal.
