Opened in the 1920s, Providence Park sits just west of downtown Portland and feels woven into the city rather than parked on its edge. It is one of the older grounds in American soccer, known for a close, loud atmosphere and a crowd that leans fully into the occasion. You can get there easily from the centre, and once you arrive the place feels compact, intense, and very Portland.
